Alex Rodriguez to appear on ‘Grit TV’ channel in 2017

New York, NY—GritTV, a television channel owned by Alex Rodriguez, announced on Wednesday that the former Major League Baseball player and Hall of Famer will appear on the channel in September.

The channel’s executive producer, Dave Zalubowski, told Bleacher that Rodriguez will appear “in a series of one-hour episodes” on September 17.

Rodriguez was arrested on June 28 on federal charges related to an alleged $3 million drug deal.

According to the New York Daily News, Rodriguez has been accused of selling his name to an organization called the Drug Enforcement Agency to supply cocaine and methamphetamine.

Rodriguez is being held in a New York City jail on $10 million bail.
