The Kentucky TV network stations are not listed on the KVUE website.
There are some KYTV-affiliated stations in Lexington, but none on the Lexington or Lexington-Fayetteville metro area.
It’s unclear how many KYTV stations are left in Kentucky.
The Lexington News Leader reported last month that Lexington TV stations are going dark because of low ratings.
KVXX and KKXX-TV were recently purchased by Liberty Media and have no plans to rebrand.
The News Leader cited KVTV owner Mark C. Shackelford, who told the paper the stations are on a hiatus because of budget cuts.
Citing sources familiar with the situation, the News Leader noted Kentucky TV owners were concerned about declining ratings due to the new restrictions.
In March, KVWTV and KVEWL stations were ordered to stop broadcasting.
The news was later corrected to say they were on hiatus.
